Aircraft Maintenance Support was started back in 1998 to help support Corporate, AG and General Aviation aircraft operator and maintenance facilities maintaining aircraft engines. With my 40 plus years in this industry as a FAA A&P mechanic/ I.A. Inspector my basic service is to give my clients a support structure when they need it. As a support representative I can give you my background experiences I have gained that may help benefit you in managing your engine maintenance costs or just supporting minor issues that may arise in your daily operations.
Director of Maintenance (D.O.M), Regional Sales Manager and Director of Engine Sales North America positions held in the past allows me to support your engine in the field or on the Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) shop floor. As your Support Representative I can be a sounding board in general discussions in major/ minor engine repairs to advising MRO engine facility that best work for you in service and costs. Assist you in budgeting costs for engine Overhauls (O/H), Hot Section Inspections (H.S.I.) or Repairs. Help you organize your engine quotes from O/H, H.S.I. or Repairs for review. Track all aspects involved with your engine going thru a MRO facilities from teardown to test cell run. Provide support in reviewing your engine cost estimate such as Original Engine Manufacture (OEM) new or serviceable parts, repair or exchange components, Parts Manufacture Approval (PMA) parts and repair/ exchange of engine accessories. This process is key in order to balance the final billing cost to the downtime costs of your engine completion date.
Regional Engine Technical Sales Representative in past employment for manufacture DOF engine facilities on Garrett/ Honeywell TPE-331 TurboProp & TFE-731 TurboFan, P&WC PT6A TurboProp/ PT6T TurboShaft/ JT15D TurboFan and PW530/ 545 TurboFan series engines.
Field Service Professionals which I have worked with many of them, can recommend their services per the engine requirement you have. If required, can assist you in coordinating the job site location (where ever it may be), special tooling required with the field service support to complete the job tasks. Work with Insurance companies so all their requirements are met in a field or shop environment when a incident or accident occurs. Provide estimated travel and expense budget for these services.
Engine Parts Support on overnight or standard shipping demands. Work with several engine DOF and Non-DOF parts suppliers throughout the country finding the best price and availability that fits your schedule.
Accessories & Engine Exchanges can be hard at times to find. Have a vast network of suppliers for Engine Accessories & Engine Exchanges for the P&WC, Honeywell, Lycoming and Continental engines. If outright serviceable engine purchases are required give yourself an average two to six month period for delivery depending on your TSN/ CSN/ TSO & CSO requirement.
